We visited the Shepard Fairey exhibition at the Merry Karnowsky Gallery in Berlin over the weekend. On Saturday they opened the Print Retrospective 1997-2009 exhibition. Especially in the context of his recent stardom it was interesting seeing his earlier works again, next to his new ones. The huge publicity push that the artist got with the Obama artwork, was certainly also reflected in the prices of his prints.
The exhibition is running until July 11th, so make sure to pass by.
After the jump a detailed look at the Shepard Fairey Print Retrospective 1997-2009 exhibition.

SHEPHARD FERRY IS HYPOCRITE AND BAD PERSON
what makes you say that???
Shephard Ferry is all hype, just a brand, if he didn\’t do the \’obey\’ poster (for kids) and the \’hope\’ poster (for Obama worshipers) no one would care. His messages are weak, and so is his work.
Why the hate?
