This morning, following previous news of Banksy’s show at his hometown Bristol Museum, BBC officially broke the silence with images and video footage of the show. Now we are able to present a video tour of the exhibit, which includes over 100 works, more than 70 of which are brand new, while many of the others, such as the painted toilets (or portaloos) have been reworked. With more of the amazing pseudo-political work we’ve come to love from the elusive, millionaire street artist Banksy, any visitors are sure to be pleased by his biggest show yet. The exhibition runs for 12 weeks and opens tomorrow, Saturday June 13, 2009 at 10am.
Have a look at BBC’s images from the Banksy Versus Bristol Museum 2009 show after the jump.

Amazing.
Might have to take a trip across the pond to see this with my own eyes.
I really think this page needs a bigger advertisement. The current one is not bright and annoying enough.
Seconded,
It makes you want to navigate away from the page before scrolling down. Then makes you somewhat frustrated that the content made you endure be blasted in the brain. Grrrr

This show is amazing and if you can make it to Bristol, it’s a must see. Banksy’s pieces are all over the museum, some are quite hard to find as they are placed along side the museums usual exhibits. If sadly you can’t make it, you can see some pictures and thoughts from my visit on the opening day. http://www.bristol-street-art.co.uk/street-art-blog/banksy-versus-bristol-museum
