Pharrell’s Custom Gold G-Shock

pharrells gshock gold 540x405 Pharrells Custom Gold G Shock

By now you should be aware that Pharrell likes jewelry, a lot of jewelry. As much as we think the era of bling is over, Pharrell certainly represents a new, if not different generation in those regards. Just recently we showed you his collaborative artwork with Takashi Murakami, where he turned every day objects with the help of Jacob & Co. into jewelry. The same holds true for his customization of his G-Shock watches. The rather cheap plastic watch (in comparison to the rest of the luxury watch market) gets the ultimate upgrade in the form of precious metals and diamonds. For some reason we find the amount of bling on the G-Shock less disturbing than your regular blinged out watch. What do you think?

  1. “Cutom”?! NICE SPELLING GENIUS.

  2. i think you’re stupid

  3. Fixed the spelling, thanks for pointing out.

  4. Db:

    Grotesque, unimaginative and bizarrely cheap-looking.

  5. nice.. probably would be better with a white strap

  6. z:

y does someone famous for music have to start trends in fashion that are very ugly n bad and just looks tacky just because he has a cult following of clones, If you tell a cult memeber of one of these guys , that lets say kanye west is gay and likes fish sticks they get pissed and go thats my idol thats my idol chill ,chill!!!!!!! so the watch is ugly

  7. I\’m all for custom stuff and sure this is kind of cool and I\’m sure it took some work, but this is like blinging out my power wheels, because no matter what you do under neath all that fools gold is still a cheap plastic piece of shit.

  8. I just like the contrast and I prefer this over any blinged out Jacob & Co watch, at least this is funny.

  9. megaman:

looks cheap, tacky & shit, looks fake

  10. nicolasfromparissoexcusemyenglish:

ugly cheap, ugly cheap, ugly cheap

  11. chris:

This brand is very original, you can also check out AkshunPublic com which is a new line based out of New York. I like their designs.

  12. This aint the first G-Shock he\’s blinged but here is hoping it is the last. The mixture of diamond casing with the strap and screen look hideous together, thought he had better taste. Stick to the music Pharrel.

  13. Jweezy:

Pharell is still spelled wrong everywhere.
