The store might be closed, but Clientele is around and back with their “We’re Back” Collection 2009.
Here’s a small preview of what’s to come from the downtown NYC sneaker boutique turned brand, Clientele. The full line will feature 5 panel hats, tank tees, a crewneck s/s sweatshirt, 10 oz. duffel bags, tee shirts, accessories, and special collaboration with one of hip-hops greats Ghostface Killah. Clientele will also be adding a concept called Street Replica, a line that focuses on the evolution of great design. Taking pieces from others to form and mold their own…
On the Clientele website you can sign up to be informed when the line releases. For now take a look at the preview of the collection after the jump.

come on, ripping polo off now – do you ever have an original idea? super, super trash -
super dope I will definately cop…. i like the all american look. nice to see street wear stepping into a grown look
I\’d thought they’d be different this time around… I miss old Clientele.
Street Replica – lol….what a good excuse to BITE off of old vintage 90s polo shit!….smh..
good lord…. COME WITH YOUR OWN IDEAS… NOT AN IDEA TO BITE.
yeah that’s pretty embarrassing, not only for the brand Clientele but for Highsnobiety to even post this.. I mean they didn’t even freak the color, composition or anything.. this is another sad example of how wack the so called “street wear” game is getting .. what happened to innovation and being different… get creative and stop trying to be like the GAP… wacccccck.
dude looks like a gay guppy, clientele needs to give it up IN FULL!!!
its good to see streetwear growing up. Who cares what it resembles, at least it doesn’t have purple and teal all over it like every other “streetwear” brand. I’d rather dress like a human than a skittles wrapper
yo j, I you’re still mad at dude, but lets keep it 100%, joe was never the one with the ideas, that was the collective in the beginning; and now he’s alone… so what more, or less would you expect from him? and whoever said “I miss old clientele”, join the club! I know I do, and so does jdro… we made hits together… The sad truth of the “street wear” world, what was once called underground is now since it’s received so much attention from a buying public on the most part “wackness”. It could no longer be the breading ground for a slow cooked product; that once upon a time came from somewhere other than mass representation of the cool… the truth is (or at least i believe is the truth) is sites like this one and hypebeast, came from a good place, but ultimately helped make what was low key, and cool, mainstream and less desirable… for example clientele’s dropping something that they feel is a “no brainer”, cause it’s worked for james, or raulph, so even if ya’ll trash it online, joe knows he’ll bump off enough of these things to reinvest in the next idea, thanks to this blog’s solidifying it’s cool factor for the sheep minded just by posting their new product. But the other thing about this shit is these blogs post shit waaaaaaay too early, and repost a couple of hundred times till you’re sick of the product before it drops (this was a point made to me by my boy grieg), which I agree with 100000%, I attribute this too the lack of content / product you could rely on receiving from a small group of under funded, or lazy, or unfocused, or under educated developers, or designers, who spend more time talking about the events of last night’s party, than doing the research and development to continue their line’s evolution… OH wait! maybe im wrong, or odee’d right their! I mean they majority of the NYC scene all hangs out between 5 bars / clubs between the 20’s to the lower, on both east and west sides of nyc, and then you have the bk crews that do the same just in bk acting like they’re too good for manhattan cause it’s filled with posers walking through the lower end of the borough trying real hard to emulate of look like the people in these shops who are sooo cool they don’t even acknowledge their dumb asses as they walk in the door (yes your a dumb ass when you spend doe, where people look down at you for liking their product, but they obviously don’t feel you should be wearing it!) , and that celebrate their mediocrity, by patting each other on the back for knowing the same chosen few, who may or may not have a skill that extends out of the reach of being able to crack into their trust funds, borrow from their local drug dealer, or be able to do lines the length of the belt parkway… or being lucky enough to either have a friend or relative who has a closet full of og shit to rip thats hot, or be that dude themselves who’s old enough to see their gear from h.s. has come back in style now, and they could capitalize on it… let me not forget queens, I gone to a couple of fuctions out there over the past few years, and they’re doing it up congrats! but they are kinda acting like nyc downtown scene-sters, (I bet my left nut comes from their being treated like shit so…), you already know! the majority of times the abuser had been abused themselves, lol….i kill me! anyway..see the end of my rant isn’t a bad thing, just the selective exploitation of goods, and the constant celebration of mediocrity for the most part… Not to mention, I’ve been quiet for years reading these blogs and peepin’ a lot of dumb asses talking like they know what goes into seeing a project thru from concept to completion, and it takes a lot more than knowing someone and regurgitating some shit you learned from hearsay, or watching the short films on these blogs, I don’t even care if you made a shirt or two, for your underground brand that took you hiring a artist, or being one yourself, and then paying the printers to make your artwork camera ready to be shot on screens, and all else related, if you ain’t capable your a new jack (which ain’t bad but when you jump on a soap box and start talking shit, I’ll call y’all on it), or worse your a og who still can’t do they’re own shit! HI DAGAN (I’m just saying doe, one of the many!)!!!! I excuse some of the younger people cause you’re quicker to run at the lip but some of you dudes just yap for what reason? I swear some of you are the type of people I would shit on quickly in your face, when I was in clientele jdro’s my witness…
anyway peace love and midget lap dances to my peoples and a fat cock down the throat to all who love team works and clientele…
matty what are you doing modeling for that asshole?! lol i aint mad at’cha, get your shine on homey!
ps… what the fuck, you guys fucked up my “clientele” logo it looks all chopped and screwed! psssst, another example of amateurs, trying to play like the pros.. im getting my doe up to come at all of y’all i might just be the dick who opens up next door, like what!!! lol!!! im serious son! dead serious! lmfaOOOOO!!!!
\’my clientele logo\’,\’doe\’,\’son\’
youre hilarious… look how many comments you and your boyfriend made!!! you should be so proud!
u just sad cause nobody cares abt your silly ass brand.
lets see how many more clever comments you can make, now that everyone knows who u are.
go!
jdro you\’re acting like a scorned woman, you\’re simply angry because you lost the only job you\’ve ever had and now you are selling sneakers noboady wants out of a warehouse. It\’s super funny that people can talk tough from a keyboard.. Clientele has balls and eventhough joe is a d*ck they never steered off course and tried to be something their not. it blows my mind that people use the blogs to fuel their hate when all they are really doing is the same thing they did in high school sitting around smoking pot and dreaming big. and watch out cause jahs watching. no but really I want to wear it for the sole fact all you people are hating… clientele keep on keepin on..
i love it!!
