Having originally been released in 1976, and recently reissued (in a slightly different design) as part of Junya Watanbe’s Comme des Garcons collection, the Sting is an absolute classic runner from Nike. This long awaited reissue has been subjected to Nike’s unique vintage treatment with a yellowed sole and distressed fabric. The upper is made up of nylon and suede and comes in a choice of two colorways: orange, white, and green or red, sail and gold. The shoe also features an old school printed “NIKE” on the heel.
The Nike Sting will be available July 11th, 2009 at Atmos Tokyo.

My wife worked for Nike in the 70’s and I fell in love with the sting. I purchaced 4 pairs from the employee store and ended up wearing 3 of them over the years. I have one pair size 10, unworn in the orginal box. Is there a market for them?
