Zevs at Art Statements Gallery Hong Kong
French street artist Zevs created a series of dripping Louis Vuitton and Chanel logo paintings for his upcoming, must-see show at Art Statements Gallery in Hong Kong. The artist created these pieces on lacquer – the traditional chinese way – in collaboration with local craftsmen. Zevs also made a series of ceramics and paintings on metal. All these works will be presented in addition to a variety of his other signature liquidated logos. Opening Thursday, July 16th. (via Supernews)

The dude was arrested and his melting Chanel logo isn\’t even real, just a stuck-on because he wants to have the Armani window and sign in the documenation picture.

This is not art. If the sign was real it wouldn\’t have meant something.
Just a third-rate art passer-by pretending to be an artist. It\’s a laugh he was arrested; served him right.
