Are you talking about, Union had the best management and staff, it was a great store, I\’m gonna be real tho, that some of the things they where selling became wack over time, i think they where best when everything was more under ground and we didn\’t see all these posers wearing there cheap nike sb\’s and H&M on, these days the industry is becoming worse and worse and more commercial as well…

Man this is bittersweet, cuz i missed Stussy but i got memories going back to HS about Union.
first time i seen an official Mitchell & Ness throwback was at Union back in 98, couldnt afford shyt back then eventually i was able 2. i didnt really like the staff though but i have that complain about most Streetwear and Sneaker spots in Soho.

I remember my first time in Union, knowing what clothes were sold there but was so taken back when the employee behind the desk looked like someone straight out of Williamsburg, BK. I just thought it was funny.

The UNION folks have always been cool to me, great shop sad to see it go, but the old Stussy store was my favorite. Union and Supreme are the same owner, and his shops are the bomb.

Its not due to the recession , or what you think is “poor customer service”. This was in the works several months ago, employees didnt even know about it . Stussy and Union are under the same ownership. When the lease ended on the stussy store, and the guy running it wanted too much money , it was just shut down , and from then on , the plan was to close union.

this is not big news. union gets no business except when huge sales go on because of its rape prices. it had poor management and arrogant employees. this had nothing to do with the recession. these labels are still pushing out collections and people are still buying, just not from union.
