In 1915 Cone became a Levi Strauss & Co. supplier, a relationship that has lasted through the twentieth century. The 1915 XX501 Jean Cone Mills Collaboration is a celebration of the origins of this long term partnership. By staying true to the original fabric and fit, the rich history of this denim comes back to life.
The denim has been developed especially for Levi’s – a lightweight 11oz denim. The 1915 fit is based on an archive jean called ‘Homer’ (named after the original owner). Also they present the denim in a celebration package with shoulder bag. Further design details of the denim include 2 back pockets with exposed rivets, a cinch, suspender buttons, two horse leather patches and more.

I bought these to wear them to ride off road motorcycles, trials and enduro, I am fed up with flashy high tech gear and decided to go retro…
They are great!
Do you know, which line of mens Levis 501s, besides XX501, still use Cone Mills denim?
clarification to comment above: Are there any current mens pants that I can buy in California or online, (514? Black Diamond?, etc) that use Cone Mills denim?
