Universal Works is a new label headed by David Keyte, a man who’s curriculum vitae includes the likes of Paul Smith, Marharishi, Margaret Howell and Albam. At a certain point, David realised he was “less interested in fashion and more in the function, fit and cut of garments.” Exploring this idea further, he decided to set up a label of his own focused on producing well made, well considered, easy to wear and affordable menswear. Each product is made in by small, highly skilled factories – many of which are located in the UK. Now available at oipolloi.com
