Converse have added a fresh new style to their roster for Fall 2009. The Jack Purcell Racearound High features several clean details such as a tumbled leather upper with suede overlays, contrast white stitching and round leather laces. Most noteworthy, however, is the lack of a rubber toe cap, endowing a sleek, modern look upon the heritage-inspired silhouette. Rest assured the signature “smiley” remains intact, although it’s been moved to the midsole. Now available at select Converse dealers including Concepts 37 Brattle Street location in Boston.
