Crooks & Castles pulled the covers off their forthcoming footwear collection this week in Las Vegas. Seen at (Capsule Show), the LA-based streetwear vets took a no frills approach with four simple, monotone silhouettes. Canvas low and mid-cut sneakers are complemented by suede models such as a perforated Air Force 1-esque lowtop and our favorite (pictured above) – the chukka. Branding is kept minimal by way of a black tongue patch and numerical heel logo. Available to Crooks & Castles accounts for Spring/Summer 2010.
More looks at the Crooks & Castles Footwear Collection from (Capsule) Show Las Vegas after the jump.

These red kicks remind me too much of Gourmet\’s joints. Is anyone else sick of companies ripping off other companie\’s shit?
No points for originality Crooks and Castles. Gas face!
(And yes, I\’m aware Gourmet based some of their shoes off pre-existing designs. But at least they flipped ‘em into something different)
Are the numbers in the last picture supposed to be minimal branding in the same vein as Common Projects? Or do they actually mean something/have significance?
The numbers spell out Crooks & Castles.
I heard Gourmet is making their shoes… Its a tight knit of crews in LA
They definitely do not spell out Crooks and Castles. Looks to me like its a phone number. Probably reppin where they\’re from or something..
The numbers correspond to the position of letters in the alphabet.
i.e. The 3rd letter of the alphabet is C.
Hence 3 18 15 15 11 19 = C R O O K S.
