With the Interbike tradeshow happening this week here is the first look at a two tone rim that Benny Gold worked on with Velocity. The collaborative rim are getting debuted at the tradeshow this week.He kept the rims classy but still unique to what is already available. They all come with a gold colored aluminum card and custom sticker. The black section of the card is chemically etched into the metal. Each card has the set number stamped directly into the metal.
More images of the Benny Gold x Velocity Rim follow after the jump.

Errrr….and the point of this exactly is what?? To get a gold sticker on rims that are already made in the same colour?? These’ll no doubt be crazy money and bought by hipsters who push their bikes…?
Those are so fucking boring. What did he design? A spoke card? They should have laser etched graphics in the rims, not a lame hang tag. FAIL.

well, to be fair, they aren’t colors that are available. its two toned. gold on one side black on the other. benny did design the card, the sticker and had the two tone idea. maybe they will be bought by bike pushers… but what they do with their parents money is up to them. ha
