The Air Pegasus 89 is one of those classic Nike runners that never quite took off the same way it’s bubble-soled counterparts did. Celebrating 20 years since it’s inception, the latest release is a mix of black nubuck, mesh and leather. White eyelets, midsole and Swoosh brighten things up while subtle grey portions keep it in balance. With some dirtier streets on the horizon, a dark, comfy shoe is always a good move. Now in stock at Flauge.

[...] The Air Pegasus 89 might not have been the most popular Nike shoe out there, but 20 years after its release, it is coming back in leather, nubuck, and mesh for collectors and classics junkies alike. White dotted about at the Swoosh and midsole makes for an interesting, understated combination for kicking around town, and you can’t argue with the practicality of dark footwear, either.
