The front is printed with his signature and the Hirst/Hirst logo, while the rear features the Other Critera logo and the clock name. Constructed of a white powdered metal case, the clock measures 35 cm in diameter and features German Quartz movement. Reminds me of those weak lick n stick coloured circles stickers from grade school, weak.
There is a significance behind the dots, goes back to old apothecaries and such. You should check out his work along with his explanations, it’ll make more sense. because of course this may appear a bit on the kitsch side but there’s a story to be heard behind it.
Enough of Damien Hirst. Do we need a clock that transcends itself towards concept art? This only deservice his actual art works, and deminishes it to bad design. A clock that needs explanation? Now that’s hard work.
