Red Wing Fall/Winter 2009 Rugged Collection

With age comes wisdom and experience. Experience adds character to everything in life. The Rugged Collection by Red Wing Shoe Company is infused with a lifetime of experience – before it ever hits the stores.

Modeled after original 1950s Red Wing designs, the Rugged Collection was put through the wringer – literally – and reintroduced to retail shelves as a new line that adds character and individuality to an already unique product. Through a special procedure rooted in true craftsmanship and precision, the boots in this collection appear to have had a whole life of work behind them, displaying the nicks and dings of truly lived-in footwear.

This limited-edition collection will hit the European market in October 2009 and will be uniquely packaged in vintage inspired boxes with hangtags. These boots are made in Red Wing, Minn., and enhanced in Italy. They will be available in 20 stores in Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Take a more detailed look at the Red Wing Rugged Collection after the jump.

  1. 177itch:

These are just as dumb as pre-distressed denim. It’s sad to see heritage brands sell-out like this.

  2. ditto on the previous comment. people are such posers if they wear this pre-distressed stuff.
