[...] I’m about two weeks shy from making my way out to Colorado for about five months to go snowboarding every day (and work) so it’s only right that I post this crazy collaboration from Burton Snowboards, Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat. “The board itself is once again NASA-grade tech, dipped in $1200 worth of Vaporskin Lite, and the shred stick that is going to win Kevin Pearce a gold medal at the Olympics in Vancouver.” I would love to get my hands on this but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. For those of you able to drop that rich people cash flow, you can pick one up at any of the Burton flagship stores in LA, Chicago, NY and Burlington. Hit the jump to get a more detailed look at the masterpiece of a snowboard courtesy of Rad Collector. [...]
That is a killer graphic 2 of nycs best artiists. Love that burton keeps it fresh

I can’t believe the Warhol and Basquiat stakeholders let their work be trivialized in this manner.
I bought this board last year, (couldn’t resist the graphics), and I have to say it was well worth the extra loot. It’s a sick sick board.
