Nike SB Fall 2010 Footwear Preview

Moving into Fall 2010, Nike SB’s footwear program will see three new signature shoes – the Omar Salazar, P. Rod 2.5 and P. Rod 4. Tapping into both ends of Nike’s legacy of heritage and innovation DNA, the Omar Salazar utilizes a mix of Flywire and classic skate styling. Grand Purple/White-Lucky Green is the color option seen above. Continuing the Fall 10 preview, Stefan Janoksi’s popular sneaker comes in a clean anthracite on anthracite.

Have a look at the Nike SB Fall 2010 Stefan Janoski after the click.

  1. Ethan:

Am I the only one that thinks Omar’s shoe looks really generic and something Nike would pawn off on Ross or TJ Maxx.

  2. MrR3NO:

that Salazar shoe is horrific, which blows cuz Omar is boss

  3. translantic:

yeah big frowny face here WTF was nike thinking when they made this shoe. Omar is sick and he should be ashamed to were these. not feelin the janoski colorway either

  4. waygood:

Really like the Janoski in this colorway would actually buy. The Salazar has a half cab profile I do like this sneaker. Its just that Nike is Nike they shouldn’t be riding Vans so hard.

  5. The Omar’s are…eh…not too bad but not too good either. Honestly, I don’t even known what to think about Nike SB anymore. To be honest, I just think their glory days are over. Even the non-dunk Sbs that were out from 2004-2006 trump these. And I see these now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they showed up in the shoe section of Gabriel’s in the fall, aptly renamed the Nike “Thrash” like they did with the Angus’s and the Regimes..oooooh (low blow)

  6. "MIKE":

    stoked for omar and stefan!

  7. No, you guys are right… This shoe is horrible, and reminiscent of a bootleg Nike shoe by Sketchers with their new walking sole. We as consumers (and skaters) expect better things of Nike, and especially a look and feel similar to their legacy, not this chunky monkey.

  8. nate:

Omar’s shoe is tight, believe me I’ve checked it out in person and it has a lot of cool technology and lighter than it looks. The width is to allow easy slip on which is good for a mid height. I’ve skated a lot of different SBs and I’m hyped to try these.

  9. necessary:

i tried these things and they’re fucking legit. don’t judge a shoe by its colorway.

  10. inaloumo:

As a design student about to graduate, all i can say is the Omar is a sick SKATE shoe. In fact its the most comfortable I’ve had in a while. It’s got a secret compartment which claims to be for the tongue thicknes,s but to me its a stash pocket. I think there are other NIKEs that are cooler, but I havent skated those, so I dont know. one more thing, its a skate shoe, not a “hanging out with my peeps looking fly ” shoe, its main purpose is not looking cool. Why don’t you guys review track and field NIKEs too. lol
