The concept of an artist working on the cover of a magazine is not entirely new and especially recently we have seen it more and more. Today we show you the latest issue of Acclaim Magazine. The cover was shot by one of own bloggers, Mel D. Cole, and further enhanced by artist Dalek.

Wow, bitch and moan. I just read Mel’s post on this. Talk about bite the hand that feeds….it your first (and probably last) cover. be thankful you get a chance and your not a pro…..your very lucky.
Biggest note here: He’s not a fashion photog. Mel when a magazine asks for touch ups, that usually means removal of hair, and unwanted blemishes etc etc, just so you know if you ever get another shoot, EVERY mag will ask for this. This is pretty much industry standard, and if the photographer has not already done it, as they usually do, they will ask for you to do this, as they can’t adjust your images without permission.
This is not asking you compromise yourself as an artist, its more so that your shots don’t look like shit when printed.
Its actually a really dope cover.
