Reebok Re-Up Select

Reebok Re-Up Select

Reebok introduces their new Re-Up Select. We have seen the concept of a zip-on extension on sneakers before, just not from the bigger brands yet and maybe there was a reason for that. The Re-Up Select can be worn as a low top and a high top and both ways it does not look too bad, but we have to ask ourselves who actually demands such a shoe?

Anyways, check out some more images of the Reebok Re-Up Select after the jump.

what if brands are simply experimenting? as Givenchy who made those super tall gold boots, they expand in sectors were others have not succeeded. Just like CR and their Italian line, which also plays with zippers, reebok made a very nice mid which can be converted in a very nice low.

silhouettes are nice and colors are solid an understated, and all in all i’d say it’s a great experiment, and one I’d cop as a collector

just a Nat-2 rip-off. check http://www.nat-2.eu they got it way before. There will be another another zip-off shoe by adidas later in april. since reebok and adidas is same company, it seems the share the designer and find it appealing to steal ideas from smaller brands in their german neighborbhood. remember the times when the majors actually pushed innovations forward!? it’s over. now brands like visvim, gourmet, nat-2 and forfex are pushing the game.. my opinion.
