M.I.A. “There’s Space For Ol-Dat-I-See (Space Odyssey)” Music Video

YouTube Preview Image
Opening Ceremony links up this crazy new track/$100 iChat video from M.I.A and Rusko. “Direct from M.I.A. H.Q. at a recording studio in sunny Los Angeles comes this brand new YouTube video that pushes the boundaries of the MacBook screen-mounted camera. Lo-fi and beautiful at the same time, the new video gives us a taste of what’s to come from M.I.A.’s new album dropping Summer 2010.”

  1. It’s a cool video, but where was the $100 spent? I also would have liked the actual track to have been overlayed, rather then a speacker-to-mic kind of deal.

  2. the chef:

probably on the projector and lights… a good set of lights can set you back way more then 100$

agreed with the overlayed track vs the live rec though.

  3. dawkins:

    disappointment
