Vans Syndicate presents for Spring 2010 a collaboration with Andy Kessler. The pack consists of the Old Skool “S” and the Sk8 Hi “S”, both featuring premium black leather uppers, perforated leather accents, white logo stripes and soles, as well as acqua laces in contrast to the otherwise very clean shoe. An Andy Kessler logo tag is placed on the inner sole. Most interesting, Vans Syndicate used Outlast technology materials on the pack, making sure to keep your foot temperature in balance, as well as providing ventilation.
A nice tribute to the NYC skate, who passed away August 2009.

Tight these finally dropped. Andy was so psyched on these I so wish he was here to celebrate this moment he lived to skate most of his life and this was something really special to him a crowning glory of sorts.

Very excited for this release. A real tragedy— literally the day the rep walked in our door with these amazing samples, word was spread of Andy’s passing on the message boards….I am saddened that these had turned out to be a type of “in memoriam” shoe rather than a “hall of fame” style achievement, but it is a great way to celebrate his life. I look forward to educating customers about this release and rocking these with pride.

BLAHH- your local vans syndicate dealer should have been allocated a small stock of each style. If you have no syndicate dealer hit me up and i may be able to get you a pair tracked down
Andy was an old friend of my fiance’s. I know he’d love a pair of these Vans and I’ve been trying to track them down for his birthday which is at the beginning of March. Haven’t seen them in stores yet. Any idea when/where I can expect to see them?
