To celebrate the premiere of HBO’s “How to Make it in America,” HBO and Complex magazine partnered with ALIFE to produce a series of 5-panel hats inspired by the show, starring Bryan Greenberg, Victor Rasuk and Kid Cudi.
Legendary NY graffiti artist and “How to Make It in America” guest star Lee Quinones worked with ALIFE founders Rob Cristofaro and Arnaud Dellecolle on a custom design that evoked the show’s “American Dream” theme. The image of a pair of crossed fingers holding a hundred dollar bill represents the hustle and hope for success.
300 hats were produced and can be found in 3 colors – black, red and heather grey. Complex.com will be giving 100 hats away via an online sweepstakes. Visit Complex to enter for your chance to win.

I watched all of the first 5 minutes of the premiere episode on youtube… needless to say, that show is pretty fucking corny.
btw, I recommend THE WIRE, which is a superior offering from HBO. It so far outclasses “How to make it america” that I am ashamed to even mention them together in the same sentence. I presume the peasants who enjoy an Entourage clone lack the sophistication and intelligence to appreciate a show as fine as The Wire… but I digress.
