Here’s another batch of Star Wars meets menswear painting (following John Woo’s work). Illustrator and animator Greg Peltz created three “fun and rather dapper portraits” of Chewbacca, C-3PO, and Boba Fett, each of whom are updated in Victorian-style garb. From Peltz’s blog:
You know what’s interesting about these paintings? That since Star Wars took place “A Long Time Ago”, much longer ago than our Earth and etcetera, in painting these characters in Victorian-Era garb, they’ve actually been modernized. Is this the opposite of turning a brand new computer into a steampunker?
Have a closer look at the Star Wars portraits after the click.
