Most of you should be in Worldcup fever at the moment, at least we still are and the important games have not even started yet. adidas Originals and Bar 25, one of Berlin’s most vivid destinations to discover the spirit of city, teamed up to create a very special place to celebrate the 2010 FIFA Worldcup, entitled Johannisburg 24. Situated next door to legendary Bar 25, Johannisburg 24 opened right on time to kick-off the Worldcup.
adidas and Bar 25 created an incredible place that reflects the exciting-, diverse- and yet aspiring country that is South Africa. The place fascinates with countless lovely details – appearing as a tin-roofed, wooden childhood dream in pale colors, with bizarre hidden rooms and dazzling light effects at night.
The area of Johannisburg 24 also features an arena style set-up for public viewing with a capacity of up to 800 people while the 3 x 5 meter LED monitor screens the games in all their perfection. In addition Joburg guests can enjoy a spacious pool site on the river or watch Berlin’s Skateboarding community trash next door’s skate ramp, especially designed by former Pro Skateboarder Lennie Burmeister.
