Dos Equis by Kaws - A Full Look

After several previews (here and here) of the upcoming collaboration between Mexican beer brand Dos Equis and Kaws, we can finally reveal the full bottle design today. The New York artist worked on a bottle design for the Lager and the Amber, both featuring his “X Eyes” all over. For the moment it looks like the bottles will only be available in Mexico, starting September 2010.

A more detailed look at the two bottles follows after the jump.

hmmmmmmm. really? come on kaws more imagination next time. this is a boring cross marketing attempt. the beer company wants young money spending adults to think their cool cause kaws put x’s on their bottle. this has little if nothing to do with art and more to do with selling out your name.your almost being pimped cause the trade off is now people that drink their beer get to go “who the fuck is kaws?”

    I think they’re pretty cool.

A very real way to tie in the ” X X ” that Kaws is famous for – lends itself naturally to a beer brand that also uses X’s as its mark. However I feel let down. Kaws is much more resourceful then that.
