Canon PowerShot G12

Canon G12

The other day we showed you the Canon PowerShot S95. We’re big fans, having shot photos all summer with the S90. But for those with slightly bigger pockets (in more ways than one) the G-series has always been a solid look. The latest addition to that legacy is the G12, with updates such as 720p HD video and HDR capabilities. Release date and pricing are still to be confirmed.

I am a fan from Nikon but have a Canon G9. I had quite a lot of problems with lens blocking and not retracting. Altough I live in Kathmandu, the Cannon repair shop/dealer always repaired this very fast and at a good price. Nevertheless this is a problem when being in a remote area.
Otherwise the built quality is perfect. I would like to have this kind of quality, but with a manual zoom.
