Golden Goose Pivetta Hiking Boots

Golden Goose Pivetta Hiking Boots

Italian premium brand Golden Goose always takes its inspiration serious. Same holds true for their latest release – the Pivetta Hiking Boots. Unlike many others, the brand did not try to bring the hiking boot into the 21st century and rather presents a brand new, vintage looking boot. They look as if they were taking off of the feet of a hiker 50 years ago. As with all of their product, you can be sure that the quality is the best in terms of materials and fabrication. The boots are now available from Aloha Rag.

More detailed images of the boots follow after the jump.

Why anyone would want something that looks “pre-worn” is a mystery to me. Buy it new and wear that sheezy yourself for cryin’ out loud!

If you had owned a pair of Pivetta hiking boots as I had you would appreciate the high quality and durable nature of this fine product. I had a pair for over twenty years and used them on construction sites and for high country hiking. They remained comfortable through many changes of the Vibram sole and much heavy use. I lament the fact that these are so difficult to find and that the sizes are limited today because of the lack of demand for quality products. What passes for hiking boots today are lightweights in every respect when compared to the Pivetta. Ciao Pivetta!
