In an interesting move Comme des Garcons SHIRT has teamed up with George Lucas and his Star Wars franchise for the upcoming Fall/Winter 2012/13 Collection. Known for its patchwork dress shirts, the sub-line by Comme des Garcons added Yoda and Darth Vader characters to the new collection, as well as script based designs hinting at the collaboration. We have seen Star Wars collaborations with everybody, ranging from Moleskine, Burton to A Bathing Ape, therefore we are not exactly sure how this fits in and if it was necessary or even a good idea.
Take a look at what product will come from this collaboration after the jump.

COMME DES GARCONS JUST BECAME THE MOST BORING BRAND ON THE PLANET. there is nothing interesting about star wars, anymore. all of its iconography has been ruined by countless stupid collaborations, and this is just another example of that same stupidity. wow, a tshirt! cool, an ugly-ass all-over print hoodie!!
you’ve got a great blog (in fact, it happens to be my favorite), but i get so disappointed everytime you post this garbage. you’re rewarding lazy behavior, and i’m afraid it only serves to encourage more uninteresting products.
