The Water Tank Project Ed Ruscha, Marilyn Minter, Jay Z and Others

The Water Tank Project, an initiative from the Word Above the Street non-profit organization, is a new project in which 300 rooftop water tanks will be used as a canvas for works from artists such as Ed Ruscha, Marilyn Minter, rapper Jay-Z and others. This unique project will commence in the spring and summer of 2013. The 12-week endeavor was created to raise awareness for the world’s dwindling global water supply. Check out Word Above the Street’s site for more information. (Source: animalnewyork)
