The final Nixon Rubber Player from the Fluro Series has been unvealed. This time they chose the grapefruit yellow. Look out for a release soon and possibly also for another upcoming Rubber Player Series in the near future.

Nixon and Barneys have put together their fourth consecutive holiday watch collection. Made up of five new exclusive timepieces, the collection features three custom 51-30’s, alongside updated versions of The Magnacon and The Time Teller P. As you can see, they kept it classy with heavy doses of black complemented by rose gold accents. Available exclusively at Barneys New York and Barneys New York CO-OP locations (including online) starting November 14, 2009.

Last night we gave you a first look at P-Rod’s Primative watch collaboration with Nixon. Here’s a full look at both the purple/gold and the black color ups. The watches go on sale this Saturday November 14th at 11:00 A.M. If you can’t make it to the store, you can purchase them online at primativeshoes.com or call to place a phone order after 11:00 A.M. on the 14th. Retail is $200 USD.

Nixon worked with Paul Rodriguez on a set of Rubber Players exclusive to his Encino, California-based shop Primitive. The watch comes in two colors: purple, representing the LA Lakers; and black, which draws from Primative’s signature color. Technically, the timepiece features a 3-hand Japanese Quartz movement, a silicon band, custom-engraved caseback with an amethyst or aquamarine stone and Primitive wordmark at the 6 o’clock position. Drops on November 14, 2009.

By now you’re probably well aware of Nixon’s ongoing Rubber Player program – one new limited color per month, sells out quick. Next up is a clean white rendition. Next up in the always sold out Rubber Player program from Nixon is a fluro green Slime colorway reminiscent of the classic TV program You Can’t Do That On Television. For those of you unaware, Nixon has released a limited edition rubber coated Player watch each month for the better part of 2009. September’s edition is available today at select retailers.

Nixon has been for a while now one of only a few interesting mid-range price watch companies on the market and with the recent push in interesting models, that will not change any time soon. Most impressed so far, we are with their new Elite Ceramic Collection for Fall 2009. Entirely Swiss Made, they present the 51-30 divers watch and the Player model with complete ceramic cases. The 51-30 comes in two sizes in all white, featuring a ceramic bezel and strap. The Player comes in black and in white with the watch case and strap coming in ceramic. Obvious other features include the scratch resistant saphire glass, Swiss movement and much more. These features of course do not come cheap. Expect the 51-30 to be more than 2000 USD retail. Look out for the new watches in stores soon.

By now you should know the drill about the Nixon Rubber Player releases. They continue to bring the rubber covered watch in limited editions, with one colorway coming out per month. For August they will come out with an apricot version of the watch. Stay tuned for the release.

Japan’s DJ Kentaro worked with Nixon on a custom version of The Private. Taking a decidedly old-school approach, Kentaro chose a palette of primary colors and a durable, water-resistant canvas strap. The crown and back are engraved with Nixon logos. Limited to 100 examples. Available now for pre-order from Samurai for a mid-October delivery.
