Produced and developed in association with Sergio Rossi and Puma, the unisex Hybrid Collection explores the morphing of genres, a re-occuring theme in Chalayan’s work. Borrowing elements from existing footwear styles, the unisex Hybrid Collection offers a fresh interpretation of the trainer. The colour palette includes taupe, black, coffee, neutral and white. Fabrics range from suede and calf leather to nylon puffa. The collection is comprised of five key styles and will be available shortly at oki-ni.

The next sneaker from the Puma x Sergio Rossi collection has been released. The First Round comes in an all black leather colorway and a white leather/off-white suede and both super clean. The entire upper comes in black leather, with only a few perforated details on the toe box and logo stripe. The white model comes in a nice mix of leathers on the upper. The sneakers are now available at colette.

The much anticipated first pieces of the Fall 2009 mens footwear collection from Puma and Sergio Rossi has been released in part. This first drop consists of the Clyde and the First Round, both coming in a mix of suede and patent leather on the upper with nice use of perforated patterns. These are probably the best new looks on Puma classics that we have seen in a long time. No crazy colors, cartoon figures or wild materials, just very solid looking footwear. Both sneakers are now available at colette.

This season the first Puma x Sergio Rossi womens collection was introduced and consisted of a couple of Clydes and high heels. For Fall/Winter 2009, the collaborative collection also comes for men. The line-up includes a large line-up of Clydes and First Rounds as well, all coming in a range of dark colors and white. Overall the collection is very subtle and concentrates on the use of premium materials. A very subtle collaborative logo has been placed on the side panels of each sneaker.

We like the collection and even though they used only very few colors, actually do not find it boring at all. Both the Clyde and the First Round came out pretty nice in the collaboration.

The much anticipated Sergio Rossi x Puma collaboration has been released today at colette. They worked next to some high heels also on the Clyde, which we present you here. It comes in four colorways, all featuring tonal satin uppers and a clean white sole. They go for 150 Euros.

We have seen it from adidas with Jeremy Scott and countless times from Puma with the likes of Alexander McQueen and Sergio Rossi. Now Reebok also joins forces with a high fashion designer – Christopher Shannon.

The Reebok x Christopher Shannon capsule collection features the Classic Leather and Exo-Fit styles from a family that also includes signature staples such as the NPC and Workout. The Classic Leather and Workout were launched in 1983 and 1984 respectively as fitness shoes, but are now celebrated for their unique heritage status.

The collaboration will also comprise of retro Reebok sportswear pieces, fabricated with materials chosen by Christopher and remodelled for a modern twist. This capsule collection will sit within Christopher’s mainline collection.

First signs of the Puma take-over are making its way into the collection. High end Italian footwear maker Sergio Rossi designed a capsule collection for Puma for Spring/Summer 2009.

The designer worked on the classic Clyde, gave it a slightly more sleek silhouette and a satin upper. Furthermore they will also be introducing high heels as part of this collaboration. An interesting mix of a classic sneaker and a high heel is the turn-out, definitely something new. Now we have to see whether these new styles will be excepted by Sergio Rossi and Puma fans around the globe. We say, it will not be everybody’s cup of tea.
