As usual, the Supreme news come in Monday morning. This time they announced an exciting collaboration with two Japanese artists. Supreme will release a series of limited edition skateboard decks designed by artists Takashi Murakami and Mr. The series will consist of three decks designed by each artist.
They will be available exclusively through the six Supreme stores (New York, Los Angeles and four locations throughout Japan) and selected retail accounts.

On September 20th, the skate decks will also be available in their new online shop (u.s. only). Just a few months ago Supreme launched their first website, which was already unexpected. An online store was definitely the last thing we would ever see from Supreme. Unfortunately the online store is U.S. only.
Otherwise this is just another impressive collaboration by the NYC brand. Thanks to them some of us get our hands on artwork that is otherwise too expensive and unattainable.
Check out all decks in detail after the jump.

Once again Mekanism presents an outstanding new project and this time gave carte blanche to German painter Albert Oehlen. Even though we have seen other artist collaboration projects by Mekanism, this project is a new approach. Albert Oehlen since the beginning of his career tries to question our conception of beauty and ugliness, which you can see in all of his paintings, collages and images.
For this project with Mekanism, the artist painted a skull with a pig nose onto 50 skateboard decks. After using severl stencils for the general form of the skull, the rest including the details and the nose have been handpainted, making each deck unique.
This project is an edition of 50 handpainted skabteboard decks. Each is original and unique and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, signed and numbered by Albert Oehlen.
The boards will be released September 12th. Check out detailed pictures after the jump.

Freshness reports about the Pepsi event that took place at Recon/Nort NYC. The event was the start of a Pepsi artist collaboration series, Premium Goods, that will continue with collaboration bottles with WESC, DJ AM and others.
At the event they did not only reveal the Pepsi x Nort bottle, designed by Stash, they also revealed the new Nort x Jason Markk sneaker cleaning set. After the Jason Markk x Undefeated collaboration, this makes perfectly sense for NYC.

The Big Geezers Tour 2007 – a Carhartt paint trip through Scandinavia and East Europe. Eight respected artists are hitting the road in a giant night liner to join forces and spread love, peace and friendship across the cities: Microbo (Italy), Joska (Germany), Jeremy Fish (USA), Wayne Horse (Netherlands), Bo 130 (Italy), The London Police (UK), Galo (Italy) and Will Barras (UK) – all part of the Big Geezers family.
In the last years Carhartt has supported and worked closely with many artists and therefore it seems natural to pay tribute to the Big Geezers and initiate this one time road trip. After the Tour D’Amour last summer through South Europe, Carhartt now discovers the North and the East: Copenhagen, Oslo, Warsaw, Budapest, Vienna, and Bratislava – 6 Stops and 5500km in 3 weeks.
The term “Big Geezers” stands for a group of artists doing something together. Originally the idea comes from Chaz, the man behind the London Police. He is the one uniting all the Big Geezers to one force – in this case a paint trip.
Not only do all participating artists contribute their artworks at each location, they also created a Carhartt Big Geezers Clothing collection, that consists of t-shirts, hoodies, sticker bags and some other pieces. We present you here the complete collection, something you do not want to miss out on.
Check out the Big Geezers Collection after the jump.

Hopefully you recall Supply, Australia’s most exclusive store carrying the same range of brands such as Union, Juice and the other top tier accounts. Once in a while they also bring out their own t-shirt line and always work with some interesting artists. The new line is dropping soon and this time they worked with Ed Repka. A connoisseur of the grotesque and proponent of supernatural realism, Repka is perhaps best known worldwide for his illustrations of Vic Rattlehead-Megadeth’s skeletal mascot from the 1980’s, which for over a decade has adorned CD covers, posters, tshirts. In general the artist is best known for 80’s metal band cd covers.
Here above you see the graphic he did for Supply – Sydney on Fire! After the jump some more examples of his work. We’ll keep you posted on the release of the new Supply t-shirts.
