Synonymous with skateboarding in Japan, T19 takes the 2-wheel route with these BMX cruiser bikes. This “How I Roll” 24-inch edition comes in two colors: black and light blue; and they will be made to order. The deadline to do so is October 28, so no need to be impulsive on the purchase as you still have a few weeks to think it over.

High-end bicycle manufacturer Colnago have released a bicycle with fellow Italians, Ferrari. Together they’ve produced the CF8, that’s inspired by technologies developed by the car make. The CF8 has a carbon fibre frame which weighs just under seven kilograms and has a lamellar interior that provides superior steering precision. Other features include an electronic gear change activation, anatomical handlebars and carbon fiber wheels. The Colnago for Ferrari CF8 is a limited series of two hundred pieces available exclusively from Colnago.

SF bike crew Mash have announced their 2012 Cinelli Bolt framset:

“Enclosed is our third look for the Cinelli MASH Bolt series. This frameset marks the return of the original Bolt geometry— preferred by some of our long distance riders and racers for its more comfortable approach. Built with the same solid Columbus Airplane construction and finished with a tonal silver top coat. The graphic palette draws its inspiration from historical Cinelli colors brought forward onto a modern street racer.”

Ducati and Mercedes AMG have announced the Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition motorcycle, their first “co-inspired” model, combining distinctive styling features from both famous marques. Serving as the 2012 flagship model of the Diavel family, the sleek matte black bike is a tribute to the AMG luxury-sport brand with various AMG reference points such as the 5-spoke wheels and horizontally ribbed seat.

The bike will make its live debut at the 64th International Motor Show in Frankfurt, Germany from 15-25 September.

Youth-lifestyle brand Hurley is celebrating the launch of its new Phantom 4D boardshort and corresponding limited-edition capsule collection at the VIP opening party of Nike’s new Salvation Malibu store on July 7, 2011.

Taking the 3-time SIMA Award-winning boardshort to the next level, Hurley launched the Phantom 4D on June 15, 2011. Incorporating Nike Flywire technology, Phantom 4D has a first-of-its-kind “biomimic” waistband as well as patented Phantom construction featuring 4-way recycled superstretch fabric, water repellency and second-skin movement.

The Phantom 4D technology was then brought to life via Hurley-commissioned artist James Marshall (aka “Dalek”) who gave a language to innovation via his striking product visual – a geometric, multi-dimensional array of color. Dalek also invited friends of the brand to showcase their own innovations through a Phantom 4D-inspired capsule collection.”
