The Hundreds drop a limited capsule based on their mascot Adam’s rival Badam. “Who’s Badam? If our buddy Adam is a relatively easy-going, nice, happy incendiary device, Badam resides all the way at the opposite end of the spectrum. Badam always looks like he’s seen better days, thanks to his bloodshot eyes and his sour expression.” The Badam tee and Badam New Era fitted hat will be available this Friday at the THLA and THSF stores.

Quintin partners with Terry Kennedy’s label Fly Society on a set of snapback caps. The hats were produced in four different colorways and feature a prominent Fly Society logo up front. The hats will be released Saturday, November 21st at The Attic where TK will be hosting a skate contest.

This week, The Hundreds present a follow-up to last week’s SF exclusive, NorCal university-inspired (Standford & UC Berkeley) Adam Outline New Era fitteds, with two SoCal-esque caps. True releases their first set of 5-panel caps for Holiday 2009. The drop includes a 2-tone canvas cap, a navy cap with contrasting white details inspired by navy pea coats, and a striped denim cap, which due to fabric availability is limited to only 25 pieces for the time being. All three caps will be available this week at True, True East and trueclothing.net. Keep your eyes open this holiday season for the follow up drops which take the exclusive fabrics and patterns even further.

Paying respect to their hometown, Hall of Fame whipped up a series of custom LA fitteds. The LA Cooperstown logo is offered in kelly and black or grey and black, while LA Dodgers fans can choose from either a Yankees colorway (after the jump) or two-tone black and grey or red and black caps. All five hats are now available in store and online at Hall of Fame.

Even though many pieces from Japanese brand Phenomenon are a little extreme for our personal taste, we appreciate when they experimental. Usually these are the pieces that you love or hate, but at least they bring a different and new idea to the table, something that does not happen too often these days.

Today we came across their new Free Hat, a snapback version of the iconic Fedora Hat. It comes in grey and in black, both featuring a black satin ribbon. The hats are now available from choiceisyours.

This Saturday, Fitted Hawaii is releasing a woven-straw hat featuring that infamous shaka that even Obama threw up during his inauguration. The shaka, in raised white stitching rests on the front of the cap, contrasted with an orange top button, green New Era sign and both green and lighter shade of green on the underbill which creates a tri-lock pattern, also seen on the satin lining on the inside. Backside features the crest in raised stitching; green with a white stroke.

Today we take a closer look at the upcoming Triumvir Winter 2009 Collection, entitled “Hell is for Heroes”. Triumvir presents a solid line-up of jackets, pants, denim, t-shirts and caps. The line is basically worked in all black, aside from the woven shirts. Graphics usually come tonal, once again highlighting the minimalist approach to the collection. Triumvir will release their Winter 2009 line today, November 13th.

November 8th Ibn Jasper celebrated his birthday at Guys and Dolls in Los Angeles. At the party he also previewed for the first time his upcoming collaborative hat with Quintin. The cap was designed to match the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Jasper high top sneakers. It comes in black suede with almost no branding. Masterpiece worked with New Era Japan on the WM01 work cap. It comes in black or khaki and features an oversized purple Masterpiece logo that wraps around the side. If you’re into this style but don’t like the logo, New Era Japan also recently released a selection of 20,000mm waterproof WM01s in a variety of muted, logo free styles.
