MUJI partners with iconic building-block company LEGO on a super fun new concept. Together they’re encouraging us to think outside the blocks (horrible, I know) by punching LEGO-sized holes in paper. The rest then becomes obvious – but wow – how innovative is that? Perfect really. Available November 27th at MUJI Japan – just in time for the Holiday season. US and European MUJI locations have yet to confirm stock.

One again Mindstyle and Ron English get together on the McSupersized Me figure. They present the character in a new 3 Feet mono color version. The deluxe fiberglass mono version figures are available at De La Barracuda, Toy Tokyo and MINDstyle ATS direct and are limited to only 10 pieces worldwide.

Japanese retailer Tomorrowland pays homage to the great color theorist of the 20th century – Verner Panton. Using some of his most iconic work Tomorrowland worked with a series of brands and partners to realize special product, including a 100% Bearbrick Set, a SFIDA soccer ball, a rug and two scarves. The product is now available through Stitch Tokyo.

T19 Skateboards out of Japan worked with Medicom Toy on a 400% Bearbrick figure. Known for their love of blue, the metallic hue of this toy is no surprise. Features a flying hamburger on the back. Now available at select retailers such as Invincible.

Bobby Hundreds was recently gifted with a trio of Atomic Werecats. Alyasha Owerka Moore (of Fiberops, Alphanumeric, etc.) and his mom Carolyn Owerka designed and handcrafted these unique, individually hand-numbered stuffed creatures. Stay tuned for more.

Bape has released new accessories from their Winter 2009 Collection. They worked with their custom plaid patterns on the new product, which includes scarves, Baby Milo cellphone straps and plush toys, as well as a belt. Each piece comes in a series of colorways and is now available from Bape stores.

Post Where The Wild Things Are’s theatrical release on October 16th, we’re presented with another quality figure from Medicom Toy. Previously available in the smaller 100% size, the story’s hero Max is now available as a 400% Kubrick at colette. Runs for € 110.00. (Approx. $163 USD).

Puma and Kidrobot have worked together with the Design Association NPO on the “Munny” Charity Project. Working with the Green and Africa theme and having in mind the 2010 soccer worldcup in South Africa, Puma and Kidrobot invited 40 artists and architects to work on their Munny toy. The final toys will be shown at the Tokyo Design Week and there will of course also be a charity auction held. The outcome is very impressive and certainly among the most creative in terms of toy customization we have seen to date.

In time for Halloween Bounty Hunter re-releases a special version of its Skull Kun toy character. The toy stands 6-inches tall and glows in the dark. The figure was inspired by a children’s breakfast cereal mascot and first came out in 2001. It is now available from Kidrobot.

Once again Japanese organization more trees gets together with Medicom on a wooden Bearbrick. As usual, the wooden Bearbrick came out beautiful. This time it is made of different kinds of wood, with the name of the wood engraved onto each piece of the toy. The more trees logo has been engraved on the back of the Bearbrick. Look out for a release at rumors on October 28th.
