We just had to take another look at the new Original Fake KAWS Karimoku Wooden Companion. The figure has finally released over ther weekend and the craftsmanship is very impressive, something only a detailed look can reveal. colette has received the figure as well, but it seems like it is already sold out.

Japanese vinyl toy originator Bounty Hunter aligns with Hong Kong’s Fingercroxx on an exclusive Giruru-Kun figure. The all black Creature from the Black Lagoon inspired toy is accompanied by Bounty Hunter x Fingercroxx T-shirts, bandanas and glasses.

We take one final look at the Karimoku produced Original Fake KAWS Companion Figure, prior to its release at the Original Fake store in Tokyo this Saturday, May 28, 2011. As mentioned before, the figure is limited to 100 pieces and will go for over $3000 USD.

Complimenting the 6″ vinyl Underman figures, Jun Takahashi unveils a duo of 12″ Underman toys, made by Medicom Toy. Again, these bring to life the characters from Undercover’s Spring/Summer 2011 lookbook of the same name. Available June 11, 2011 at Undercover stores in Japan.

Today we can take a closer look at the forthcoming Karimoku Wood version of the KAW/Original Fake Companion Figure. The figure measures 30 centimeters in size, is limited to 100 signed and numbered pieces and will NOT be sold at Kawsone.com. Look for a release on May 28, 2011 at select Original Fake retailers.

Photographer Steve Benisty had the chance to visit the office of Nike CEO Mark Parker. Get ready for heaven for any sneaker, art and toy lover. Mark Parker has of course any limited edition and special release Nike sneaker one can dream of standing in his office. What we find much more impressive is the extensive selection of toys from Kaws, Michael Lau and many others, as well as all sorts of art evolving around the Nike universe.

Medicom Toy celebrates 10 years of their genre defining Be@rbrick toy with Series 22. Featured designs include American rappers House of Pain, Japanese brand Wonder Worker Guerrilla Band, DC Comic’s Green Lantern, card game UNO, Disney films Cars and Pirates of the Caribbean and more. Bearbrick series 22 will be released late June 2011.

Artist Moist follows Kaws in paying homage to Damien Hirst and his famous dissected anatomical model sculptures with a custom 13″ tall dissected version of the Coarse Toys Jaws character. In true Coarse Toys form, this one happens to be wearing Vans Sk8-His and has a shark on his head. This custom work is so good you could swear it was a production model.

Today we get a first look at one of the most exciting toy figures to come from Kaws and Original Fake in a while. The iconic Kaws Companion characters returns this Summer in a Karimoku Wood version. Priced at a round 3′000 USD and about 30 centimeters in size, the toy comes limited to only 100 pieces and will release signed and numbered by Kaws, starting May 28th, 2011.
