MINDstyle x CLOT 'Silk Mickey' Figure

Celebrating the new Year of the Dragon, CLOT has teamed up with MINDstyle on a new Mickey Mouse vinyl toy. The ‘Mickey Silk’ sees the iconic Disney character stand in its usual pose, while wearing a signature CLOT silk top. Further branding of the collaboration has been placed on the bottom of the feet of the toy.

The 7 Inch figure will see an official release on January 20th, 2012.

National Geographic’s Ultimate Factories show had the chance to visit one of the most iconic toy companies in all of history when they checked out the Lego factory in Billund, Denmark. We envy this opportunity and until Lego comes knocking, we will have to be content with this episode of the show. It airs on January 21 on Nat Geo.

Bape x mastermind JAPAN Bearbrick for Sense Magazine

Coming with the February 2012 issue of Japan’s Sense Magazine is the above Bape x mastermind JAPAN 100% Bearbrick by Medicom. The toy comes in matte black with metallic gold branding. Certainly one of the better gifts to come with a magazine we would say.

David Flores 'Deathead' Vinyl Figure

Artist David Flores has been busy lately. Today we get a first look at his upcoming 10″ vinyl figure. Entitled ‘Deathead’, the toy is a “reinterpretation of Mickey melded with Totenkopf symbol utilized by the Prussian army during the time of Frederick the Great will be produced by Bic Plastics and reportedly come in five colorways.”

The artist stays 100% true to his signature segmented style with the vinyl toy. A release date has not been announced yet, but we will of course keep you posted.

The Steve Jobs Action Figure

Well, this comes with no surprise. Inicons presents a 1:6 scale Steve Jobs Action Figure. The late Apple founder and CEO is presented in his usual outfit, including a pair of jeans, black pullover and of course New Balance sneakers. They went as far as presenting the man in his most iconic poses, on stage, presenting the latest Apple product. Priced at 100 USD, the figure is moving really fast, at least until the Jobs family decides to send a a cease and desist letter to the manufacturers.

Medicom Bearbrick 400% Dry Carbon Toy

Medicom presents yet another special 400% Bearbrick for the holiday season. When they venture outside of their usual materials, we believe the most interesting toys come out. That is exactly what happened here – they produced a dry carbon version of the iconic toy. The toy is formed with lots of pressure out of one piece of material, making it hard to produce and of course expensive. The Dry Carbon 400% Bearbrick will sell for 1900 USD.

mastermind JAPAN x Bape Bearbrick Toy Preview

Here is a little preview of an upcoming collaboration between Bape, Medicom Toy and mastermind JAPAN for BlackSense Market next year. The three teamed up on a black 100% Bearbrick toy, featuring logo placements of both Japanese brands in gold. We will of course keep you posted on the release.
