Undefeated’s love for sports is no mystery. They’re back with another sporting related tee shirt here inspired by the current 2012 NBA playoffs. The Los Angeles-based brand and retailer rallies around the hometown Lakers here with a tee done up in the familiar purple and gold color color made famous by the basketball team. We know who Undefeated has this post season, who do you guys got? Anyway, the tee will be available at all Undefeated chapter and web stores.

The prolific Pharrell Williams took on a modeling gig for GAP Hong Kong. GAP HK reached out to legendary photographer Annie Liebovitz to shoot the campaign that saw Williams alongside actress/model Angelababy. The ads were created to promote GAP’s new Hong Kong stores.

In this new collaboration, Fred Perry and Dr. Martens team up on a small capsule collection for Summer 2012. Of course both brands produced what they are best known for as part of the partnership. Next to accessories, including hats and wrist bands, Dr. Martens produced a Quilt Wing Tip shoe and Fred Perry produced shirts and of course also polo shirts.

The Fred Perry x Dr. Martens Collection launches this week at Japanese retailer Beams.

Uniqlo continues its collaboration with Undercover under the UU label and this time also involves Disney. Remixed Disney graphics, produced bu Jun Takahashi’s brand Undercover, are featured on the t-shirts. The line includes mens, women’s and children’s t-shirts, coming to stores now.

Another interesting Japanese brand, that has not really made strong moves outside of Japan yet, is presenting its new Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. The River was clearly inspired by the UK and offers classic pieces with innovative details and in special and unexpected materials for the new season. The knitwear and blazers are the stand-out items for us.

Maybe a little less hyped than other Japanese brands, nonnative has slowly become one of our personal favorites these last years. Great layering styles, just an overall solid look, good quality, nice and unique innovative details, all while not looking overdressed or too fashionable.

The same is true for their upcoming Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. From outerwear, footwear to nice shirting and knitwear, the collection is versatile, easy to match and wear and looks very nice.

Today we get news that the Raf Simons x Fred Perry Collaboration will return for Spring/Summer 2013. The collection first launched in Autumn/Winter 2008 and ran until last summer, sitting out the last two seasons. It looks like fans missed the line and therefore a 28 piece clothing line by Fred Perry, designed by Raf Simons, will return next summer. The collection will be officially presented during Paris Fashion Week this coming summer.

As summer’s approaching, Play Cloths have released its season’s lookbook that showcases the brand’s forthcoming ‘Wildlife’ capsule. It’s exactly what it says it is, as summer staples of
vests, shorts and caps get the animal treatment with leopard, tiger and zebra all-over prints. They’re all worked well into the collection, but if they’re too wild for your taking, there’s a couple of tees that simply bear one of the animals heads.

Stussy Canada is set to open up a new exhibition in celebration of their collaboration with Raif Adelberg. The collection goes by the name “Deadboys Clubhouse” and in addition to the launch of the capsule collection, there will be this event going down on April 28, 2012. Already having dropped their Eagle Mascot capsule for Spring 2012, Undefeated follow up with a more core collection for the season. A sporting reference towards running are shown on various tees, as well as their tally motif. Other pieces include the label’s typeface and more simplistic styles on tees, shorts and sweats. Our picks are definitely the headwear, like the tiger camp bucket hat, as shown above. This collection’s set for release this Friday 27th April.
