It is still surprising seeing brands that have been around for such a long time only launch their web presence now. In Japan we come across this more often than elsewhere though. Today Jun Takahashi announces that on October 22nd the brand will be showing its Spring/Summer 2012 Women’s Collection online and if you want to watch it on their new website, you have to register (starting today) and get a password.

Today the shocking news that Apple founder and CEO until very recently, Steve Jobs, had passed away. He has been battling cancer for many years, therefore this does not come as a big surprise to many, especially after he had stepped down as Apple CEO only a couple of months ago. We cannot think of another leader in technology that has touched our life’s the way Steve has.

In an interesting move, A Bathing Ape has released today a Baby Milo branded eMail application for the iPhone platform. The app is as of today in the App Store and allows you to send and receive eMail, just like any other mail client, only that you get Baby Milo graphics and more as an addition to the functionality. As part owner of the Nets basketball team, the illustrious Jay-Z announced Monday that the Nets will take the name of their new home, Brooklyn, when they leave New Jersey in 2012, officially becoming the Brooklyn Nets. The rap mogul also announced that he’ll personally open the Barclays Center with a special concert series when the 18,000-seat arena opens next September, as well as playing a role in the design of the team’s new logo and uniform alongside adidas.

To celebrate the arrival of the Forumal 1 racing circuit in America, Red Bull Racing produced a really nice clip in Texas, having their F1 showcar chased by cowboys on a ranch. The F1 Circuit of the Americas takes place in Austin, Texas, on November 18th, 2011.
