Prada goes the sneaker/wingtip fusion route with these newly released calf leather Wingtip Derby sneakers. 5 colors are offered including some two-toned and all tonal pairs. We’re not mad at these. They all look rather nice and we bet they’re comfortable, too. Last season Prada started a big trend with their Espadrille mid-sole infused Wingtip Brogues. This seems to be a more sporty version of that. How do these compare with the Cole Haan LunarGrand?

For Spring/Summer 2012, SOPHNET has teamed up with Walk Over on their classic Wing Tip Brogue. Obviously the Japanese brand did not leave things as they are and added their own twist to the shoe.

Coming in three colorways, two suede and one leather version, the shoes feature classic looking one color uppers. A popping color has been added to the mid-sole and heel of each shoe in neon blue, green and orange.

The SOPHNET x Walk Over shoes will release at retailers on February 25th.

For Fall/Winter 2012 Dr. Martens keeps it interesting. For the new season they got together with Pendleton and together they worked on boots and a matching bag. The classic Dr. Martens boot comes in its iconic black and burgundy leather colorways, yet this time enhanced with signature Pendleton Woolen Mills wool side-panels. Matching the boots, Pendleton has produced messenger bags, also coming in two colorways. Look out for a release later this year.

Slam Jam gets together with Italian boot maker Diemme for Spring/Summer 2012. They worked on the Diemme Movida Basket in two colorways. “This model, originally designed for trekking feature hydro-repellent suede, gum toe, Vibram sole and Micro midsole, white leather lining and a double set of laces. Perfect for these freezing days but also for the outdoor activities of the upcoming spring.”

The boots are now available in the Slam Jam online store.

uniform experiment and outdoor shoes and sandal specialists Teva hook up on some water shoes for Spring/Summer 2012. The two worked on Teva’s popular Hurricane XLT and in typical ue fashion, the final product ended up being a tasteful one. Two different striped colors, one in a navy/white and the other being navy/blue sax, are being offered for this upcoming season’s collection.

A refreshing light blue colored wingtip shoe has released from the Pierre Hardy Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. A slimmer silhouette thatn the more classic wingtip brogues, Hardy presents a modern and young interpretation of the shoe in premium leather in a summery light blue colorway. The shoes are now available from Restir.

Kazuki’s store Heather Grey Wall has teamed up with Mark McNairy for Spring/Summer 2012. They worked on a Derby Boot and a Wingtip Brogue, each coming in two colorways. All four pairs are now in limited stock at Heather Grey Wall stores.

Today we get a first look at the collaboration between Pharrell Williams’ Billionaire Boys Club and Mark McNairy from New York. Of course McNairy was heavily inspired by vintage Americana and presents a nice capsule collection in collaboration with the streetwear brand with a few very strong signature pieces.

“The line of luxury gear was born out of a conversation Williams and McNairy had over a possible boot collaboration that turned into a full capsule collection. Even the collection’s name, Bee Line, has noble ties as Williams was inspired by Napoleon’s decision to replace fleur-de-lis with the insect as France’s royal symbol. Most categories of menswear are covered in the assortment, from outerwear to boots, and all of the gear is made in the USA save for the sweaters woven in Scottish mills.”

This week visvim has released several new footwear styles from its Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. While most recent releases were boots, the ones coming out this week are part of the sneaker category.

The Logan Deck Lo is a simple Era-style low top sneaker. It will come in a beautiful dark indigo option with red outersole and alternative colorways. Furthermore visvim will drop the Jaipur Hi Denim, a Chuck Taylor style silhouette and the Flynt Hi Sashiko, which is an interesting mid top sneaker. Expect all of them to come in a series of colors later this week at visvim retailers.

From the Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2012 Collection we present a nice new shoe. While looking rather simple and classic at first, the black leather lace-up comes with a metal heel piece on the mid-sole, resulting in an interesting accent and totally new look.
