Following yesterday’s peek into the black and royal CTS for Thrasher’s forthcoming video “Prevent This Tragedy”, we now have a look at the rest of the collection. In addition to the aforementioned CTS, the capsule consists of a hemp CTS Mid in black, green and white; a CTS Ox in black and gum (with Ethan Fowler insole); as well as a small apparel line with a mesh-back cap in 2 colorways and 3 different t-shirts. As the title sponsor of the new Thrasher video “Prevent This Tragedy”, CONS produced a capsule collection of shoes and matching apparel. Up to this point, CONS hasn’t done any “collaborations” and this would be the closest they’ve come to one, and might ever come – so this is a pretty big deal. The first shoe to leak is a black suede CTS with blue accents and a Thrasher “Prevent This Tragedy” insole.

The “Prevent This Tragedy” video will be free in the February cover issue of Thrasher Magazine (on newsstands January 12th); but the shoes will be hitting finer skate shops early next week.

Zoo York, in association with RA Recordings, SMC Records, and Cornerstone Promotion, presents a collaborative skate deck that celebrates the November 17th release of Rakim’s new album, The Seventh Seal. The deck features graphics designed by Rakim, Zoo York and NYC artist Dean Nicastro and will come packaged with the new The Seventh Seal CD. If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll note that Hello Kitty has collaborated with everyone and their mother for their 35th anniversary. Admittedly we’ve skipped over quite a few “streetwear” team-ups with the cat, because quite frankly we know most of you really aren’t that into it. This one is good though. Mike Carroll’s pro deck on Girl with Miss Kitty front and center (where the Girl logo often stands). We’re assuming there’s decks for the whole squad too. “Not until next year” says Crailtap.

Tomorrow night, Saturday, November 14th, from 7-10pm Long Beach retailer Proper is hosting a launch party for the Vans Vault Ray Barbee re-issue pack. The event will feature a collection of classic Ray Barbee boards (starting with the early Cliver Rag Doll decks) and memorabilia along with music by Tommy Guerrero. If you’re in the area, it’ll definitely be worth attending. If not, enjoy the video celebrating 20 years of Ray Barbee’s skate career.

Circa works with Brooklyn Projects once again on a simple skate silhouette. The collaborative Cero is featured in all-black canvas with a tonal “BLACK FRIDAY” embroidered across the heel. The insole features both Circa and BP logos. Available now at Millenium Shoes for $54 USD.

Once again Supreme got together with UK superstar artist Damien Hirst. In this new collaboration for Holiday 2009, the New York brand and the artist worked on several products . Hirst is known for his iconic graphic Spot paintings that depict rows of randomly-colored circles. Supreme will release a series of five individually designed decks and a Box Logo tee designed by Damien Hirst featuring his Spot paintings.

The Damien Hirst for Supreme product will be available in-store November 19th and online November 23rd.

éS shot over a look into a new shoe for the Holiday 2009 season called The Erving. As you can see, it is a wild basketball-inspired skate shoe that feature a thin, flared tongue, lace flaps and unique panels all supported by a traditional vulcanized outsole. Comes in three loud color ups for the season and is hitting stores this week.

As part of Riviera’s Design Series Casa Surf Project, Eve Lowey of Studio Chameleon joined forces with former world champion skateboarder and owner of etnies Pierre Andre Senizergues on a signature Skate Room. Hailing back to its roots in skateboarding and all that encompasses the culture, the movement, curves and shapes in the design of the room reflect the passion of etnies.

Highlights include the Chicken’s bowl sink, shoe scrap headboard, reversed shadow box wheel mirror, skate free mini bar, “Graffiti Malibu” art piece and an original art creation by Mike Manzoori titled “It’s Not Where You’re Going, It’s How You Get There.” The room also offers an eco twist on design, reviving discarded items and ultimately spreading a message of lightening your eco impact, one footprint at a time.

The ocean view hotel room is located in Laguna Beach, California in Casa Del Camino Hotel, and will open to rent starting this weekend. And that’s not all. For the first year of room rentals, La Casa Del Camino Hotel is giving a portion of the room rate to etnies charity of choice: Global Green, USA. Go PAS!
