After BEATNIC, we today present the collaboration between Reebok and Japanese retailer atmos for the 25th anniversary 0f the iconic Workout Plus. atmos continues to work with an all-over glow-in-the-dark design, as we have seen many times already in other sneaker collaborations that they have been involved in. Everything, including the sole, laces and lining glows.

A Bathing Ape introduces a new mid top sneaker for Spring/Summer 2012. Keeping it classic, the Chukka Mid comes with a classic 1st Camo canvas upper in two colorways. Further details include the boat shoe style lace wrap and the Bapesta logo placement on the mid-sole. The sneaker is now available from Bape stores around the globe.

As part of its new Spring 2012 Running Collection, Nike Sportswear presents the Air Max 1 in a great black colorway. A good amount of the upper is wrapped in 3M reflective material, making sure that you are seen during your morning runs. Look out for a release soon.

Not the first Converse sneakers with a design inspired by the iconic leather motorcycle jacket, the brand has decided to release an entire pack for Spring/Summer 2012. Staying true to the jacket, the Chuck Taylor comes both in high top and low top versions, featuring premium leather uppers, red linings and of course zipper details. All of them are now available from the Converse online store.

In an interesting collaboration, rain jacket maker K-Way has teamed up with New Balance on a pack of 420s. The slimmer running sneaker comes in overall 4 classic colorways, featuring suede/nylon uppers, and a double brand tag on the tongue. Concepts has all of them in stock now.

Out of the various Nike Vac Tech sneakers, ones utilizing wool arguably look the best. Here is a great example of that with these new Nike Blazer Mid VTs that have just released. This dark grey wool premium is looking mighty proper. The shoes also feature a leather lining and two-toned woven laces. These are now available at Size?.

After having recently unveiled the Foot Patrol, Espionage and Sneakersnstuff collaborations with Reebok for the Workout 25th Anniversary celebrations, we now move on to the next one. Fullerton California store BEATNIC was also invited to create its very own interpretation of the Workout Plus.

The store was inspired by the original Reebok Pump Fury colorway and tried to stay as true as possible to the sneaker. Unfortunately their request for pump functionality on the shoe was not brought to reality, but otherwise materials and colors pretty perfectly reflect the OG colors onto the Workout Plus.

This past week Nike has added the SFB Boots, the Special Field Boots, to their iD program. Keeping the choice minimal, allows you to create your own version of the boot, while not going too wild. A few colors, some camo patterns and of course your personal iD writing can be chosen on the boot, which goes for 175 USD. Check it out here.

With the NBA All-Star game occurring this month and with big brands introducing releases centered around the event, adidas unveils their Originals AR 2.0 that will be releasing for consumers. This lifestyle mid-top sneaker is inspired by their iconic Forum Mid basketball shoe, but with a modernized look with with a vulcanized sole and ankle strap. These will be dropping at Foot Locker locations for $95.

Although barely into the second month of 2012, it’s safe to say this will be one of the top releases of the year when the Air Jordan IV white cement shoes drop. The official date for the retail release will be on February 18. There’s not much else to say about these classics. You all know what they are and where they rank amongst the best all-time sneakers.
