StepChild Snowboards gets their own colorway of Thirtytwo’s classic Lashed boot in celebration of the new 32/SC video entitled “This Video Sucks”. You can watch the flick in it’s entirely over at StepChildSnowboards.com, where part 7 of 7 (with the legendary JP Walker) just went live. The boots are now available at select Thirtytwo accounts.

Nike Snowboarding presents as part of their November 2009 release this new “Tiger Rabbit” Zoom Force 1 boot. It comes in a strong red colorway with a tiger pattern all over the upper. Other details include golden eyelets, black leather toe cap and accents, as well as the “Tiger Rabbit” emblem on the ankle strap.

Each season Monument Snowboard’s Creative Director, Christopher Glancy curates an ever-growing pedigree of artists to create site-specific art and deliver the highest quality product on the market. This season they worked with SSUR, Rammellzee, Bjorn Copeland, Richard Colman, and Kelsey Brookes. Each artist created a snowboard for the 2009-2010 season, with the exception of SSUR, who actually created 3 snowboards. The range is very impressive and definitely worth considering this season, if you need a new board.

To accompany their collaborative snowboard boot, Vans and Airblaster got together on a water resistant Era. The “Stay Wild” Era features an all-black upper with a bright pink top eyelet and teal lining alongside Airblaster logo placements. Perfect for those slushy days in the parking lot. We get a look at the second season of the rather new Nike Snowboarding Fall/Winter 2009 brand. Next to their Zoom Force 1 boots, they introduce the new Kaiju boot. The colorways are a little more attention seeking than last season, but they also offer some solid black and white colorways. Next to the boots they also offer some great new jackets, using Gore-Tex and other technical materials, as well as Recco technology.

Earlier this year we gave you a look into a new brand called ISAORA, who are producing hi-end, snowboard inspired apparel. The debut collection presented a very impressive range, blending technical materials with stylish cuts and attractive color options. For spring we see a slightly more adventurous approach with red and plaid palettes in the line, though the patterns and colors are still much more subdued than what we’re used to seeing from the usual suspects in snowboarding. In other words, we like this.

Japanese outerwear brand Afdicegear presents their new Fall/Winter 2009-2010 Collection. When it comes to snowboard wear choice becomes pretty limited, with a few big players taking up the market. Afdicegear has been doing their thing for a minute already and has come known for producing some of the best outerwear in the market. The new collection is no different and presents some well constructed technical jackets and shell jackets, using Gore-Tex fabrics and adding lots of little details and features. We also like the colors in the collection, which are strong compared to the pretty subtle branding.

L-R-G collaborated with Oakley on their legendary A Frame goggle, an innovative design that has become the benchmark for fit, comfort, and optical performance on the snow. Rad Collector reports on a new addition to Burton’s Private Stock project, that kicked off last season with Ron English. “Burton has linked up with elusive cult hero R. Crumb for the new Fritz the Cat Twin V Rocker board. Definitely a collector’s piece, the board retails for a mellow $399 so don’t expect it to last long at retail. Speaking of that, you may have to hunt a bit, only 100 retailers along with the flagship stores in NY, LA and the Chi will have these.”
