Once again Red Bull is behind an impressive new film projects in the action sports field. With The Art of Flight they will soon be releasing an impressive new snowboarding film and today we can show you the trailer and give you some first background information.

“The Art of FLIGHT follows Travis Rice, John Jackson, Mark Landvik, Scotty Lago, Jake Blauvelt, Nicolas Muller, Gigi Ruf, DCP and Pat Moore as they dream up new global adventures and progress the sport to unimaginable levels.

Brain Farm has gathered an arsenal of the most advanced and progressive film making technology to bring the masses a snowboarding adventure of epic proportions. Filmed on location in Jackson Hole, Alaska, Chile, Aspen, Patagonia, British Columbia and more, FLIGHT brings the viewer along for the perfect blend of adventure/travel drama and high-energy snowboarding action. The Art of FLIGHT releases September 2011.”

It looks like Burton teamed up with Red Wing to produce a set of snowboard boots. The boots imitate quite well the Red Wing Classic Work Boot, using original Red Wing leather on the upper, hiking boot laces and of course the white outer sole. There also seems to be a second colorway in the pack. It looks like the workwear crowd can finally switch from telemark skiing to snowboarding.

The New Balance x 686 product fit in better than ever this round of Agenda, as they kicked off their first ever Agenda Snow last week in Anaheim Continuing on with new sneakers and snowboard boots for Fall 2011, the above V74 sneaker stood out to us in ripstop nylon and an all-new rubber toe cap. Matching 580s and more can be seen in our gallery.

In an interesting collaboration HUF partners with acclaimed footwear brand New Balance to collaborate on the New Balance 205 sneaker model along with the New Balance 686 – 790 snowboard boot. Not only has the San Francisco brand chosen good colors for the collaboration, most interesting are their choice of models. The boots and sneakers will release January 8th at Huf flagship stores in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

In an interesting new collaboration Burton has collaborated with the Hudson’s Bay Company on a snowboard. The Burton x Hudson’s Bay Company board graphic is based on the HBC’s trademark multistripe point blanket and is now available here.

The other day we presented the new Gigi Ruf Zoom Kaiju QS signature snowboard boot from Nike Snowboarding. Check out the commercial that they produced to introduce the boot here above.

This month Nike Snowboarding is dropping their next Quickstrike snowboard boot – the Nike Zoom Kaiju QS “Gigi Rüf”.

“Gigi’s passion for football and his hometown club SC Bregenz in particular has been the starting point of inspiration for this project. Add Nike’s Mercurial Vapor football boot to the mix and you’ll get one of the most technically advanced snowboard boots out in the market.”

The boot will be available from select Nike Snowboarding dealers starting November 19th.

Burton’s brand-new TRON: Legacy-themed snowboard boot is now hitting stores around the world. Inspired by Disney’s high-tech 3D adventure movie TRON: Legacy, the new boot is the result of a collaboration between Disney Consumer Products and Burton Snowboards.

“The exclusive new TRON: Legacy model, part of the all-new Burton Raptor boot line, blends best-in-class tech with an aesthetic that mirrors the high-tech world of TRON. Inspired by the film’s strong graphic look and feel, the boot is made to look like something out of the future, but seen through the eyes of a snowboarder back in 1982 when the original TRON film was released.
