Stones Throw and Parra announce a one-of-a-kind Rockwell pop-up store in Los Angeles this Thanksgiving Weekend, Nov 27-29. “This time around, we will take the show on the road, literally. The Rockwell Ice Cream Truck will be a unique mobile experience traveling throughout Los Angeles and Orange County offering new collectibles each day ranging from exclusive t-shirts to pillows to duvet covers to a limited zine+cd with Arkitip and everything in between.” There’s also a Stones Throw x Rockwell tee, varsity jackets and more. To find out where the Rockwell Ice Cream truck will be, follow twitter.com/stonesthrow.

Complex sat down with the Patta crew, while they were visiting NYC. Gee, Edson and Tim do not only give a nice history lesson on how Patta came about, but they also talk about what makes Patta Patta, about their 5th anniversary celebrations and most importantly what we will be seeing from them in the future. Some of you might have already heard it, Patta is about to open a new store in Amsterdam, uniting a Stussy flagship store with a strong line-up of Japanese brands. To commemorate their 3 Year Anniversary, Boundless NY brings a peek around their neighborhood of Willamsburg, Brooklyn.

We realize that a huge part of our loyal following have never been able to step foot inside Boundless. So we got the Usual Suspects together and shot a little video. Giving everyone that isn’t able to make it to the brick and mortar shop in Brooklyn a vibes check.

We start with a shot from the top of our building, giving you a look at Midtown and the Manhattan Skyline, continuing with our local kids heading toward Boundless down the Williamsburg Bridge.

The Williamsburg Bridge takes you from Delancey Street in Manhattan, to the Continental Army Plaza on Roebling Street in Brooklyn. Its the gateway to The County of Kings – and Boundless NY.

Once again the brand impresses with a very unique take on interior design, placing a massive light installation on the ceiling and also making use of the backyard of the store. New York’s Gagosian Gallery has recently opened their first retail space in the city. The store offers an impressive line-up of one-off items and limited edition product from Gagosian’s mind-blowing list of big name artists, including Richard Prince, Jeff Koons and Damien Hirst. Damien Hirst’s Other Criteria has an entire section in the retail space. You can find anything from books, prints to special objects. The store opened beginning of the month on Madison Avenue.

The much anticipated Nike SB Pop-Up Store opened yesterday in Berlin on Torstrasse 72. Not only does the store present a strong line-up of the current Nike SB collection, they also exhibit the works of photographer Alex Flach, who traveled with the Nike SB team around the globe and documented it. Stops on the trip included Dubai, Cairo, Capetown and Tokyo. Another highlight in the space is the built in mini rimp indoor. We can only suggest to pass by, either for some new product highlights from Nike SB or for a little skate session. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Martens have launched their first-ever pop-up shop in Seattle, WA. Given the brand’s ties to youth culture since the 60s, Dr. Martens was drawn to the city’s vibrant independent culture and influential music scene. The shop itself takes inspiration from Dr. Martens industrial origins with boots and shoes displayed on wooden pallets, sitting against exposed brick and raw wood floors. Neon yellow lights provide a contemporary touch. Definitely a must-see for those in the area.

October 10th will see the opening of the “Alive with Pleasure” exhibition of Berlin based photographer Alex Flach. Besides the exhibition there will be a Nike SB temporary store and an indoor miniramp. The exhibition shows pictures of the German Nike SB Team touring through Tokyo, Dubai, Capetown and Cairo. Accompanying the exhibition there will be a limited and signed book, shirt and poster available at the store. The official launch event takes place next Saturday.

The new and third Odin location has opened its doors in the West Village, after already being represented in Soho and the East Village. The new store features an interior made up of antiques, wooden floors and just makes for the perfect environment to display their collections.

The Art Convenience Store will be opening its doors at colette on September 21rst. The theme of the pop-up store is “Souvenir from Tokyo” and thus the store will feature numerous interesting collaborative items, including Hiroshi Fujiwara x Frixion pens, Jun Takahashi (Undercover) x Gimbis biscuits, Chitose Abe (Sacai) x Sanrio, Nobuhiko Kitamura (Hysteric Glamour) x Snoopy, Medicom Toy x André Kubricks, as well as a mastermind Japan umbrella. Today we can already preview the umbrella and the Kubrick set.

The Art Convenience Store will be at Uniqlo in New York and Doverstreet Market London before arriving at colette. Afterwards it will travel to Joyce Hong Kong and Isetan Tokyo.
