We had heard rumors already a while back and here comes the confirmation. A.P.C., the french label, will open a flagship store in LA in May. This is great news for LA, adding to the long list of hot shops that you can now find there. Finally LA has access to great, well priced denim and minimalist French fashion.

The people known for Pop-up shops are at it again. WRG ? once again created a pop-up store for the Spring 2007 collection of the 40 Acres & A Mule collection of Ecko and Spike Lee. The collection features tees, tops, hoodies and jackets with lots of nice details, embroideries, patterns and more. You can now purchase it in the pop-up store before anywhere else.

For those of you that don’t kno, FTC is one of the most iconic skateshops out there, having opened their doors over 20 years ago in San Francisco in 1986. Now a new chapter is starting with a new FTC Tokyo store opening. They just celebrated the opening on March 17th and also released some products for that occassion.

The GreyOne chapter has extended to Manila for the first time in SE Asia. The collaboration will be called GreyOne Social. They will be carrying brands such as Crooks  & Castles , 10 Deep, Alife, Creative Recreation, Mishka, Stacks & Bundles, HomeRoom, Mighty Healthy, SSUR, TBG, GRN Appletree, GreyOne Apparel, 3sixteen,  Acapulco Gold, Free Gold Watch and more. This will be the very first streetwear boutique in the Philippines. Coming already in April!

Dedicated to Puma’s Sport Fashion collections, the new PUMA Black Store is located in Tokyo’s mid town at 9-7-4, Akasaka, Minato-ku, and will exclusively house the brand’s extensive range of designer collaborations, specifically 96HOURS, Puma by MIHARAYASUHIRO, Rudolf Dassler Schuhfabrik and Alexander McQueen Puma.  The doors open on March 30th 2007 with the introduction of the new Autumn Winter 2007 collections.
The Black Store was created as a laboratory for the brand to experiment with new collaboration collections and concepts as well as creating a unique retail environment for Puma consumers. The new Tokyo store will be 2nd Puma store dedicated to the Sport Fashion collections, next to the store in New York. Intended to highlight the unique aspects of a multitude of collections in one unique space, the store has a sleek black interior that provides a neutral backdrop. Inspired by sport the stores fixtures take on active roles with hanging ropes and moveable tables. This unique environment was designed as a place where Puma’s Sport Fashion brands can interact in a complementary way through the introduction of new graphics that incorporate the individual logos of the collections. The store will also be the launch platform for Puma’s special projects and exclusive limited edition collections. The first of these to launch will be the winning footwear designs from the Puma Central Saint Martins re – design competition, which previewed at London Fashion Week early this year. A limited edition run of the 3 winning designs will be available in the Tokyo store in August 2007.

You have probably already noticed that the whole 25th Anniversary of the Air Force 1 is kind of a big deal and Nike is doing a lot to make sure that everybody sees it that way too.
What we enjoy about the festivities, is the diversity. You have parties that are clearly directed at the sneakerhead community and then again you have parties and exhibitions that are directed towards people that maybe know a lot about fashion, but not so much at all about this specific shoe, its history or sneakers in general. That’s the kind of exhibition that now went down at Dover Street Market in London, one of the most exciting stores in Europe.
