The legendary Casio company was kind enough to treat Wood Wood to their very own G-Shock. They kept the face simple, with nothing more than an embossed W.W. changed up front – though the band is quite ornate with a wrap-around “W” hand sign. Only 15 pieces in the whole wide world. On November 18th (today), Nooka will sponsor the 2009 Red Bull BC One, the world’s biggest one-on-one b-boy competition, at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. Sixteen of the globe’s best dancers will compete head-to-head to determine who will be the ONE crowned Red Bull BC One 2009 Champion. As sponsors of the event, Nooka has custom designed a limited black Zub watch for each of the competitors. The timepiece features an NYC-inspired print, and is limited to 16 pieces.

Seattle “skate jocks” Manik are the latest brand to receive their own G-Shock watch from Casio. Overall, the classic DW-5600 is kept simple with a mostly matte black make up. The main Manik design elements are a criss-cross pattern printed over the strap accompanied by a broken deck logo on the inside casing. Stless Select has stock.

Bell & Ross has released what they claim is “the first watch to be constructed entirely of a carbon fiber case”. And if you’re a fan of carbon fiber, the dial and strap also feature the lightweight, high performance material as well. Ready for 100m water resistance. Limited to 500 examples. A lot of watches today, right? But I’ll be damned if this one isn’t a looker.

Nixon and Barneys have put together their fourth consecutive holiday watch collection. Made up of five new exclusive timepieces, the collection features three custom 51-30’s, alongside updated versions of The Magnacon and The Time Teller P. As you can see, they kept it classy with heavy doses of black complemented by rose gold accents. Available exclusively at Barneys New York and Barneys New York CO-OP locations (including online) starting November 14, 2009.

Nixon worked with Paul Rodriguez on a set of Rubber Players exclusive to his Encino, California-based shop Primitive. The watch comes in two colors: purple, representing the LA Lakers; and black, which draws from Primative’s signature color. Technically, the timepiece features a 3-hand Japanese Quartz movement, a silicon band, custom-engraved caseback with an amethyst or aquamarine stone and Primitive wordmark at the 6 o’clock position. Drops on November 14, 2009.
