First product from the Nike Sportswear Spring/Summer 2010 Collection has been released. The drop includes the Reversible Team Jacket, the N98 Gore Windstopper Jacket, a logo t-shirts, Sportsman pants, as well as a backpack and a messenger bag, both coming in silver/red colorways. The Team Jacket is our personal favorite, coming with some great details and in a fantastic light beige colorway. The new product is now available in the honeyee online store.

CLOT will release the Alienegra Camo Parka in a new army green colorway this week. Once again it features the art of Madsaki, a camo pattern all-over, Madsaki signature on the removable mask and mohawk on the hood. Not a piece for everybody, but certainly something you will stand out with. Juice HK will release the hoodie on February 10th.

Just in time for Mardi Gras and to celebrate the New Orleans Saints’ Super Bowl win, New Balance introduces the Mardi Gras 525. Remaining true to the comfort and light-weight design specific to New Balance, the 525 and offers detailed design and accents especially for Mardi Gras, including a fleur de lis symbol on the heel tab, a festive mask image on the shoe insert and three beads on the shoelaces. Available in white or black versions with hits of green, purple and gold.

Scandinavian label WeSC aligns with graffiti artist Mode 2 on a selection of garments for SS’10. Items include both casual and more formal with a two-button blazer and dress slacks offset by highly-illustrated crews, tees and bandanas. A clean New Era driving cap is highlight of the collection.

Following a successful first season, PUMA continues the Urban Mobility Collection into FW’10 under the creative direction of Hussein Chalayan. Embracing the concept of minimalism in urban living, Chalayan infuses each sneaker with understated functionality. Styles include the Urban Flyer, Urban Flyer Fold (a slip-on variant) and Urban Motus. The Motus (pictured above) is our pick of the litter, with clean suede chukka boot styling and subtle branding.

Currently on display at SoHo’s legendary Deitch Projects is Keith Haring’s 70-foot-long mural painted in 1985 for the South of Market Childcare Center (SOMACC) in San Francisco.

“The mural is one of 16 public works painted at hospitals and children’s centers around the world during the artist’s lifetime. Painted in one day, the mural incorporates cartoon characters and animals inspired by the artist’s childhood drawings. When SOMACC lost its lease and moved to a new location in September 2006, the mural was dismantled and is now on view for the first time outside of San Francisco.”

On display at Deitch until February 16th, 2010.

PUMA provided designer Sadia Rafique with the iconic First Round silhouette and she went to work – handpicking fabrics, colors, trims, laces, print techniques, and designing an accompanying shoe bag. The final design features transfers of Sadia’s ink drawings and poetic messaging in black, white, and pink, enhanced by LOT 78’s quality soft leather and suede. Limited to 400 pairs. Following a successful FW’09 collaboration, Woolrich teamed with Japanese brand nanamica once again for SS’10. Well known for their work with The North Face’s Purple Label, nanamica added some interesting technical materials and features to the classic Woolrich styled 60/40 Mountain Parka. The Mountain Parka comes in tan or black and features a nice plaid lining. Limited release – good luck finding one outside of nanamica’s flagships in Japan.
