Coming soon from 100 Styles and Running are revamped versions of two of their most popular styles. Above is the Oliver, a high top constructed of premium perforated leather with removable ankle straps. The other shoe is the Colston, a hybrid sneaker slip-on comfortable at both beach and office.

Launched in 2006, 100 Styles And Running has quickly set a foot in the industry and convinced with a solid offering in their first couple of collections. For Spring/Summer 2009 they have expanded the line, added new styles, new materials and new colors, making sure to overall mix is well balanced.

One can certainly say that the balance has been achieved, as the new collection offers something for everybody. From high top to low top sneakers, boots and slip-ons there is everything in the collection. They also offer both canvas and premium leather styles, as well as some innovative lacing systems in the new collection.

Urban Outfitters has got together with 100 Styles and Running on a sharp exclusive set. The Abbot and Chase models come dressed in a heavy grey canvas. The Chase has already hit the web, melding wallabee style with a sneaker driven outsole. The Abbot will release soon.

Footwear from 100 Styles and Running blurs the lines between shoe and sneaker, tradition and innovation. Melding diverse influences and inspirations, their products point first toward function, but with complete cognizance of style. For Fall 2008, we saw a tie to classic hunting attire. Lined boots, duck toes and more. For Spring, that same flare is applied to 100 Styles sneaker hybrids. New materials and color schemes are applied, pushing forward models that should soon became the calling card of the young outfit.

The company is brothers Chad and Evan Birenbaum. To complement our presentation of 100 Styles and Running’s Spring 2009, we caught up with the Birenbaum’s to learn more about their vision.

100 Styles And Running launched this year and the new shoe brand impressed us with their line-up right from the start, presenting quality sneakers that stick to the essentials. Yet we could not make up our mind about the brand, as only a couple of styles have released so far.

When we saw their Holiday 2008/09 collection it got all more clear to us and now it is actually hard to compare them to any other brand out there. For Holiday they present a really strong line-up of high top sneakers and boots, that take their inspiration from classic hiking and duck boots, but have been enhanced and the little details make the difference. Also the quality is on point, as most of the winter footwear comes with Thinsualte leather linings, rubber toe caps, fur linings and much more. Now looking at all the shoes we have seen from the brand, they take an interesting position somewhere between the sneaker market and casual footwear market.

Here’s a preview of two new styles from the 100 Styles and Running camp. Clean, Classic and Comfortable. Both the Lowell and the Chase are boots modeled in the sneaker hybrid vein, with a touch of New England hunting boot about them. Both are further examples of the company playing with wardrobe classics. The Chase comes with two different liners, which can be checked after the jump. 

A couple of weeks ago we first presented you the up and coming footwear brand 100 Styles And Running. Among the first retailers to carry their Spring/Summer ‘08 collection is Ubiq in Philadelphia. They got in several colorways of the Abbott and the Dylan styles.
