New Balance US drops official info about their first collab with Undefeated. From the press release:

The inspiration behind the New Balance Desert Storm 1500 is based upon military designs from the Gulf War. The light and dark brown panels with red and blue hits are colorways inspired from a Desert Storm operations patch. The premium suede fabrication of the shoe has been chosen to correspond with real army boots that were worn in the Gulf War. The chocolate chip camo, which is found on the shoe bed, interior lining, and shoe bag, is a specification to commemorate the design’s introduction in the Gulf War. 1500s feature embroidery detail on foxing and tongue of each shoe and collection call out on shoe insole.

The New Balance Desert Storm 1500 will be available beginning on May 1 at select Undefeated retailers.

The 1500 has been one of favorite New Balance styles for Fall 2009. The latest iteration of the model sees a super clean black, white and grey upper with a gum sole and a green or maroon treated back panel. The maroon version is a Solebox exclusive and comes packaged with a pair of New Balance x Solebox socks. Made in England. Available August 22nd at Solebox.

The release is now just around the corner and we can finally give you a detailed look at it. Solebox once again worked with New Balance, this time on the 1500, entitled “Nazar Eye”. It comes in a very solid color combo in nice premium materials. Definitely one of the more subtle releases to come from Berlin’s sneaker empire. After giving you a teaser of the upcoming Solebox x New Balance 1500 sneakers, we give you a real look today. Entitled "Evil Eye" the sneaker keeps a classic look, coming in mostly black with grey suede details. On the laces you find the "evil eye", which is a strong symbol in the Turkish culture and is supposed to turn evil looks away from you.

We give you a first look today at the upcoming Solebox x New Balance 1500 collaboration. The Berlin based boutique does not come to rest, and presents after their Asics and Lacoste collaboration yet another one.

Here are for now only some teaser images, but more to come soon.

24 Kilates once again joins forces with New Balance. For their first collaboration a couple of months ago, on the New Balance 1700, the store was inspired by Antoni Gaudi. This time another famous Spanish artist got them inspired – Joan Miro.
"Regarding the features, it’s important to point out that Miró has two distinctive subjects: his surrealism and the use of the basic colours of the whole spectrum. We decided to manipulate those colours but using a black background, taking in consideration the surrealism mentioned above. The shoe, which combines perforated leather and suede, reaches its harmony when it’s seen from a distance. The attractiveness of this sneaker comes from a mixture of basic colours and surrealism – a mixture that provides its own sense for itself." Via Sneaker Freaker.
The sneaker will be released Spring 2009, around the end of January.

The long wait is over. One of Australia’s premier boutiques, Provider, is getting ready to release their collaboration with New Balance on the 1500 model. The shoe comes in fresh colors, while keeping an overall clean look. The aqua blue is a nice contract.

On May 10th it will be released at Provider and they will also put 40 pairs of it into their online store.
UPDATE: Here some more news on the release that just got in. Those of you living in Berlin, will be able to get your hands on these sneakers even earlier. Solebox will release them on the 3rd of May, but they only have 11 pairs and they will only be available in store.

First sneakers of the New Balance Spring 2008 collection are arriving in stores. Overkill Berlin has received the new 1500, 670, 470 and 574 styles and has them in stock now. Some of them are coming as limited editions, such as the one that you see here above. Others are part of the regular collection.

Australian store Provider teamed up with New Balance to work on the 1500 model. The outcome is a nice black/charcoal/blue colorway, with the entire upper coming in premium suede. The sneaker will be released in March and will also come with matching wayfarer sunglasses. Via Sneaker Freaker.

Pictures of the New Balance x Solebox Toothpaste Pack have already been floating around a while ago, now Sneaker Freaker properly presents it.
The pack consists of two New Balance 1500’s, each using a nice mix of premium suede, mesh and patent leather. The list of details on these is long. Solebox understands very well designing hot New Balance sneakers that are special, but at the same time they do not go too crazy and the final product is always still wearable and easy to match. Same with the Toothpaste pack – nothing that you have ever seen before, but still solid sneakers. There is still no exact release info, but we’ll keep you posted.
